Matias has been touring around Finland for the past few years, taking the salsa message from one place to another.
As a teacher, he has won praise for his inspiring energy, clear teaching style and advanced pedagogy.
She teaches to a full range of dance audiences, from new beginner classes to dance teacher training!
Matias’ classes emphasise the connection between partners and the interpretation of music, and progress from technique to dancing itself and enjoying it!
The teaching combines in-depth knowledge of dance and music from 15 years of experience, both from the dancer’s and musician’s point of view.

SARi AALTONEN
Sari Aaltonen is a Laplander, a Kainuu native, and the organiser of the Jari Aaltonen Dance School.
Sari’s dance classes are easy to be in.
Good group management, clear teaching and strong pedagogy create a safe atmosphere in the classes.
Sari’s love for teaching, people and music is clearly evident in her teaching moments and content. The Finnish Dance Teachers’ Association Stol ry chose Sari as Dance Teacher of the Year in 2017.

ARTO PETJALA
Arto Petjala is a versatile dance professional.
Although his main job at the moment is teaching solo lessons, his heart beats most for partner dance.
Arto teaches partner dancers from beginners to experts and competitive couples, and trains new ballroom dance instructors and professionals.
Arto is an inspiring, approachable and skilled educator.
He makes sure that the atmosphere in the classroom is accepting and supportive of learning.
There is a lot of dancing in the classroom, and Arto always shares the lessons he has learned over his long teaching career with a twinkle in his eye.
Dog’n Roll , a one-man business, offers sports massage in addition to dance lessons.
Arto is also an entrepreneur in Aisti ja Tunne Oy in Kajaani.

MIMMI MARJAMAA
Mimmi is an impressive dance teacher in the Oulu area.
Dance entered her life at the age of five when, after her first dance lesson, she told her parents that she would be a dance teacher when she grew up.
In 2014 she graduated from Oulu University of Applied Sciences as a dance teacher with a specialisation in show dance.
Mimi has a strong background in show and contemporary dance, but her heart beats especially for Cuban dance and reggaeton.
In addition to teaching dance, Mimmi has been seen as a dancer on competition stages, including a two-time Latinoshow SM gold medalist (Latinoshow and parisalsa), a dancer in dance festivals and has also worked as a choreographer.
JARI AALTONEN
Jari is the founder of Dance School Jari Aaltonen and the charming director of TanziAallon.
Jari, who also plays the drums, is a great teacher whose warm humour is guaranteed to captivate every student.
Jari believes that the dance shoe slides best on the dance floor when everyone is having fun.
So this dance teacher with a degree in dance education has a few tricks up his sleeve to make sure things don’t get too serious in class.
The Finnish Dance Teachers’ Association Stol chose Jari as Dance Teacher of the Year in spring 2015.
