Anne-Riina Hurskainen

Anne-Riina is a dance teacher (AMK) from Kuopio with a passion for different types of couple dances and dialogue between couples.

Anne-Riina’s classes focus on quality dance technique to make dancing with a partner to music as successful as possible.
The joy and energy of dance is conveyed in Anne-Riina’s classes and she strives to motivate her students to find their passion for dance.
In Kuopio, Anne-Riina runs Dance School Wisio with her husband Tapan.

Anne-Riina has been described (despite being from Savoie) as a clear and inspiring pedagogue.
In her classes, she tries to create a relaxed and open atmosphere to ensure that learning takes place in a good way.
Anne-Riina develops her own dancing skills by touring West Coast Swing events and competing in advanced classes around the world.

Free time is spent playing with two small children and the dog and doing various sports.
Crossfit has long been one of Anne-Riina’s favourite activities and her latest experiment is downhill skiing.
