Ruka dances again next year – 2-4 May 2025! Go on an adventure holiday to the north!

Mark your calendars, it’s going to be a tickling weekend with professional teachers! OMimmi Marjamaa, Arto Petjala, Matias Löyttyniemi, and Sari and Jari Aaltonen will continue in the pekaart.The weekend also promises a new kind of rhythm, as for example. Jenna Polvi will introduce us to the secrets of Argentine Tango!

The programme and event website with accommodation offers will be published on 31.10.2024. Early Bird tickets are on sale from 1.11.-31.12.2024.

There will be a great time for dancers of all levels, in a great destination! Arctic Palm Party with live performers continues!

For campers, accommodation offers will be negotiated, reservations closer to the date will be made directly to the addresses provided by the hosts, according to the instructions.

LEVELS
The camp has a programme for dancers of all levels, from beginners to more challenging classes. We also offer classes for solo dancers!

PROGRAMME
The programme & side-events are currently being worked on full steam ahead!

Also in this camp, in addition to the partner dancers, SOOLO dancers are also taken into account. Solo dancers dancing without a partner will be taken on an experience of a lifetime into the wonderful world of hot Salsa & Reggaeton! Dancers who love the sunset will be pampered with the Arctic Palm Party and Live performers. With professional instructors rocking your hips at the PalmBeach, an imaginary trip to the hot sun is guaranteed!

FEES

TEACHERS
JENNAPOLVI – A clear and present creator of atmosphere, whose love for music and dance will leave no one in any doubt. Tango is Jenna’s passion, which has also earned her the Finnish Lavatango Championship at the Seinäjoki Tango Market in 2019! ❤

MATIAS LÖYTTYNIEMI – The Salsa Man of Finland from Helsinki! Matias has carried the sun of salsa all over Finland, and now, luckily for us, that same sun will be seen in Ruka in 2025!

ARTO PETJALA – Everybody’s favourite dancing dog whisperer from Kainuu, whose inspiring classes are not to be messed with!

MIMMI MARJAMAA – Oulu-based two-time Latinoshow SM gold medalist brings new colour to traditional couple dances with the teachings of SOOLO-Salsa & Reggaeton WorkShop!

SARI AND JARI AALTONEN – A teaching couple from Oulu, known for their unique down-to-earth teaching style and pioneering work in ballroom dance education!
