GREEN = FOUNDATIONS Start here!
It’s easy to learn and no prior knowledge is required.
Each class starts with learning the basic steps of dance.
At the green level, you will practice your first dance patterns, find the right rhythm and learn the basics of leading and following.
Green classes have a supportive learning atmosphere, a fun atmosphere and lots of other people taking their first steps in dance. Note!
It’s a good idea to take several green and green-blue classes of the same dance genre before moving on to blue classes.
GREEN/BlUE = BASICS/CENTER LEVEL You are already familiar with the basics.
You are ready to face new challenges and need more confidence in your dancing before moving on to blue classes.
Topics include strong basic technique and slightly more challenging dance patterns.
Don’t rush to move on to the next level from this level either.
Different green-blue classes of the same genre will bring more skill and confidence to your dancing.
Blue-green classes are where many dancers experience their strongest development.
BLUE = MEDIUM LEVEL Join the blue classes via the blue-green classes.
This level requires fluency in the dance genre in question.
In the blue class you will practice variations of patterns, get tips on music interpretation, deepen your partnering and dance technique.
To continue your fast-paced development in dance, look for lots of repetition in the blue level as well.
The variety of subjects ensures that you’re always learning something new.
Repetition and a can-do attitude are the perfect foundation for strong dance skills.
BLUE/RED= CENTRAL/HIGH These classes are suitable for both blue and red level dancers.
However, don’t rush to blue-red classes until your stone leg is strong.
We assume that you have already done a lot of dance kilometres when you come to these classes.
The dance technique taught is precise and the patterns and musical interpretations will be something to chew on, even for those who have danced longer.
RED = CHALLENGING
You are ready for red classes when you know and can perform even the more challenging variations of the discipline, you can apply what you have learned in the past to new challenges, and your export/support is of high quality and can be adapted to the level and style of your partner.
Your body control is good and you interpret music fluently in your dance.
You have the motivation to develop your dancing to a new level.
A red level dancer has realised that developing your dancing skills is a lifelong process and you are never finished.
The goal of these challenging classes is for you to become a well-rounded, skilled and tolerant dancer.
