Sari Aaltonen is a Laplander, a Kainuu native, and the organiser of the Jari Aaltonen Dance School. 

Sari’s dance classes are easy to be in. Good group management, clear teaching and strong pedagogy create a safe atmosphere in the classes. Sari’s love for teaching, people and music is clearly evident in her teaching moments and content.  The Finnish Association of Dance Teachers Stol ry chose Sari as Dance Teacher of the Year 2017. 

It is typical of Sari to create enthusiasm around her also outside of dance lessons. A good example of this is the fact that Sari has also been a major influence on  In the early stages of the creation of Lapland Action .
